I had the pleasure of interviewing Heather Fork, MD, physician career strategist and master certified coach, for this week's episode of "The Art of Medicine with Dr. Andrew Wilner." I interviewed Heather several years ago for Medscape.com and she has valuable experience to share. I am always impressed by her unique combination of compassion and common sense.
Heather is a former dermatologist who discovered that private practice didn't align with her personality and long-term goals. Dr. Fork became a physician career strategist and Master Certified Coach 12 years ago. She has 2,500 hours of training and is accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She has helped hundreds of physicians address career challenges such as the "Imposter Syndrome," burnout, and even boredom after years in a successful practice.
On this program, Heather discusses who needs a coach, how to find a coach, when someone might need a therapist in addition to a coach, and how much coaching might cost. Please join us for this engaging 25-minute interview!
