Please join me for another ReachMD interview with Dr. Maheen Mausoof Adamson, Clinical Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at Stanford School of Medicine, Palo Alto, CA. Dr. Adamson discusses the rise of traumatic brain injury (TBI) in women due to their increased exposure to injury in the military and high-risk sports. Early research suggests that there may be differences in the response of the female brain to injury vs the male brain, and many questions remain to be answered.
