It turns out that 34% of locum tenens doctors make their living with locums working full-time. Another 21% work locums as "moonlighting," in addition to their regular job. And the rest, 45%, work locums part-time as their only employment, perhaps easing into retirement or just targeting that ever elusive goal, work-life balance!
